What is an EPC Device?

An EPC device is a Max for Live device designed to use a VST plugin as if it were a native Live device. Its purpose is to operate the VST plugin directly from the track's effects section, avoiding having to open/close the VST plugin's floating window.

Different version of the VST

The requirements specify the version of the VST plugin used to create the EPC Device. This does not mean it will not work with different versions. Generally, different versions of VST plugins still have the same controls. However, incompatibilities may occur in some cases. If this happens, use the version of the VST plugin specified in the requirements.
